Peru
is indeed the land of enchantment.
Within an area of 1 285 215 km2
(Texas and California combined) Peru houses
over 80% of the world's ecosystems. This immense bio-diversity is manifested in tropical beaches,
rugged mountains, barren desert and the world famous Amazon jungle.
Once
home of the Incas, Peru is also internationally known for its
archeological ruins and its rich cultural heritage. The lost city of Machu Picchu, the Incan capital of Cusco and the Nazca lines are just a
few of the more famous sites. Less visited but equally interesting sites
include the ruins of pre-Incan cultures such as Chavin, Moche, Chimu and
Tiahuanacu, as well as Incan ruins including Choquequirau, the Sacred
Valley and Raq’chi.
Join us and discover Peru; its varied
terrain, archeological treasures, warm people and, of course, it's waves!
